Welcome!
Welcome to the Perfect North Adaptive Snow Sports Program
Thank you for your interest in Perfect North Slope's Adaptive Snow Sports School (PNSA). This past summer has been an extremely busy one. The school has seen a few changes, as well as, taken on a couple new initiatives.
The first change that all of you returning folks will notice, will be the location. This season we are excited to have our own area. That's right, we are moving out of the lodge. We are in a new structure located where the adaptive equipment shed was for the past few seasons. This will cut down on some of the clutter and confusion during set up.
The next big improvement is with the equipment. PNSA has purchased and received 3 new mono skis. We have purchased 2 adult and 1 junior mono ski. We are looking forward to getting you out in one of the new "toys".
One new initiative that the school is undertaking is the addition of a volunteer school. With the growth of our school, we recognize that our core staff is not going to be able to keep up. Through our dynamic training and the use of our core staff, we are confident that we will still be able to offer the same level of expertise within our lessons.
The second initiative we have taken on is a sponsorship program. With the growth we are seeing, we are also seeing the need for new equipment. This program is strictly for the sponsoring of new equipment by individuals, groups, or businesses. For more information on this, please talk to the director.
The last major change that will be noticed by returning folks is the staffing. Larry has moved away and will no longer be skiing with us. Larry is in the process of starting a new program up in Minnesota. I would personally like to thank Larry for all of his time, dedication, and knowledge that he has contributed to our program. We will continue to support Larry in his new endeavors up in Minnesota.
On behalf of the entire PNSA Staff and Myself, we would like to thank you for your interest in the adaptive program here at Perfect North Slopes. We look forward to skiing with you this season.
Sincerely,
Tyler Melton
Director PNSA
